These are our rules:
- We can only do work that would normally be completed by voluntary labour. This means that we cannot undertake a job that takes work away from a commercial company.
- The work must provide a service to the community. For example: painting and decorating a community centre improves the facilities for the groups that meet there.
- Is there water available?
This is important and may be required to complete the task.
- Is there electric light available?
These conditions may affect how we carry out the work.
- Is there a toilet available for use?
We have to provide access to toilet facilities for the supervisor and work party who will be at the location for the majority of the day.
These rules will be fully explained when your request to the Unpaid Work programme is assessed. To nominate a project for unpaid work please click here.
